Understanding the nature of dynamic leadership

As long as the record has always existed, people have been discussing the nature of the leadership - of course, as early as Homer and his peers already exist. This topic is still fascinating and confusing today, but the way we assess leadership roles is changing.

We have sought inspiration and insight from military and political leaders. More and more business leaders are now following and providing examples.

Most articles on good management and how to focus on leadership. It is considered one of the most important areas of personal development. This also explains the growing interest in leadership courses.

Of course, the theory about leadership is almost as much as the leader himself and the best leadership and the model of changing times.

Behaviorist theory tends to look at leaders based on what leaders do rather than on their personal characteristics and try to determine the different roles they perform. Recently, people's attention has shifted away from the individual in the leadership role to a more comprehensive view, and has reduced what some critics call "the myth of the heroic leader."

A lot of recent work in this area has focused on trying to understand why some leaders are more effective than other leaders by observing their environment and the environment in which their actions have been taken. Situation Theorizing that leadership is context specific rather than leader's personality. It is based on the idea that different situations require different styles of leaders.

Situational leadership is based on the means to provide effective leadership by using different leadership styles for different people in different situations.

Situational leadership is model not theory . The difference is that a theory attempts to explain the reasons for the occurrence of the event, and a model is a pattern of existing events that can be learned and repeated.

Requirements of the leader :

An effective leader needs to be:

o A good diagnosis that can perceive and appreciate the difference between people and situations.

o Adaptable to adapt leadership style to the environment.

Leaders must realize that there is no best way to influence people .

The basis of situational leadership :

Situational leadership is a way of describing and analyzing leadership styles. It is a combination of guidance and supportive behavior.

The act involves telling people what to do, how to do it, where to do it, when to do it, and then closely monitor this performance. Supporting includes listening to people's opinions, supporting and encouraging their efforts, and then helping them to participate in problem solving and decision-making.

There are four leadership styles: guidance, mentoring, support and delegation .

Each style applies in some situations. They can be shown as follows:

o commissioned ie low supportive and low instruction

o commanding ie low supportive and highly prescriptive

o Support High support rate and high instruction

o Coaching ie high support rate and low instruction

Summary :

For those who think that a great leader is born The people did not propose, I would say this: We can examine all the great leaders in history and determine some common characteristics, but we cannot say that they are "born leaders." They have evolved into their leadership role in a period of time, learning skills along the way. I believe leaders can develop - I must believe because we have too few people in the world
