He is Board Certified in Labor and Employment Law and adjunct professor in management in the Jones Graduate School of Business at Rice University. He is past-President and former General Counsel of HR Houston, and he has served on both a SHRM special advisory panel and as an instructor for the EEOC's Technical Assistance Program. He is a graduate of Tulane Law School and the University of California, Irvine.
