Faculty Development: Phased Treatment Planning and Caries Management Updates Course Summary: This workshop will provide an overview of the treatment phasing and sequencing hierarchy used in treating patients in the D3 and D4 programs at our institution; address the mechanics of phasing and sequencing patient treatment in the patient's EHR using axiUm; and describe the most recent standardized, evidence-based method for comprehensive caries classification and management as recommended by the International Caries Classification and Management System (ICCMS). Apply the reassessment steps placed within phases to insure that patient treatment is appropriate and targeted to patient needs; and Apply the concept of staging and management in the prevention and management of caries.
