I have moved around a lot and have lived in some really beautiful places and one of those places was Lake Monticello! I have always really liked this area in particular because its "quiet" but still absolutely stunning. The homes are fair to medium priced ranging from around $ 200k on up to a cool one million. Of course with more money comes plenty of views, rooms and amenities but hey that's with any home in any town across the world. The $ 200k homes are just as beautiful as the $ 1mill ones but are more affordable for the middle class buyer. In the end it will depend on you want what you want, like and can afford in your budget. You also could take a look at less "expensive" options as well such as rent to own or for sale BY owner. I like the FSBO options because the owners are usually more than happy to work something out with you dollar wise.
The homes in Lake Monticello are a private, gated country-club community in Central Virginia so if that's the type of home you are looking for, then Lake Monticello is the place for you! The lake enjoys mild climates year round averaging 74 degrees in the summer while still enjoying the four seasons at their best and there is a ton of stuff to do around this area such as; sailing, skiing, water tubing, fishing, and swimming, in addition to championship golf, club dining, tennis, and community activities. This would be a great environment for anyone; young or old!
Of course I have expensive taste so the one closest to one million was my favorite but the other two were just as nice, but a bit smaller obviously. The first two would be good for a single family, single person or a couple whereas the bigger home would be a great option for a big family or someone that can afford it. All of these homes are of the utmost quality and can easily be seen or checked out online through pictures and floor plans. You can also contact the agent right on the website through email or phone and they can answer whatever questions you might have about the house, the property or the surrounding areas.
On the actual website you can also find other information about the house as well such as; Subdivision, year built, Square Footage, stories, yard details, interior information (bedrooms, bathrooms, fireplaces), schools, etc. This information can most likely be found right underneath the house photos and details but, if it's not it will be somewhere on the same page of the house! These homes really got me excited and I hope that they got you excited as well!
