1956 Maserati Zagato Body
Chassis No. 2108 was originally the 1956 NY Auto Show display vehicle, wearing an Allemano body. While being delivered to its first customer, it caught fire under the dashboard and the insurance company totaled the car. [owner] bought the mechanically complete car that had virtually no miles along with another A6G2000 [??? which one] as spare in 2005. Chassis No. 2108 was fitted with the Zagato body from Chassis No. 2102, the Moss/Jenkinson 1956 MM practice car. After a two-year restoration in Padova, Italy the resulting car is what you see here today.
