How to be better at drawing:

1. Learn how to hold a pencil.

Place the pencil between the index finger and thumb and place it on the dominant hand. Try to take it from a quarter of the tip. For a basic drawing, you do not want to move the pencil closer to the tip, or you will not be able to move it to a sufficient position, while holding a pencil that is too far away will not control it. Consider proportions and decompose the objects into the basic shapes you practiced before.
