Due to the content broadcast and published on the media every day, misunderstandings about Africa have spread like wildfire to the West. This series of articles attempts to solve common misconceptions about Africa. I am African and I have dealt with every issue I will deal with personally.
The following questions are true and there is no change in humor or dramatic effects.
Identity is ignored to protect ignorant people.

Q: "Are you from Africa? I went to the country with my wife..."
Africa is not country. Africa is a continent with 52 countries and cultures and languages. The list goes on. This is a more accurate picture, rather than treating it as an indiscriminate block. As Africans, not all people get along. Many countries are in conflict with each other.
Q: "Are you from Zambia? Do you know this person Umpalumpa? He is from the Sudan."
Africans have about 160 million chances to understand identity another. Who wrote the hero, the butterfly effect, Tim Kirin summarizes it in a conversation between a Westerner and an African character.
Usutu: "You come from the United States?"
Matt Parkman: "Yes, what did you do?"
Usutu: "Do you know Britney Spears?"
Matt Parkman: "...no."

Since the "Lion King", Westerners have given up their research on Africa. The film is summed up in 1 hour and 29 minutes in Africa. Timone, Pumba, and Simba sang "Hakuna Matata" in the movie, which made the African people think that Swahili is a universal language spoken by all Africans, exacerbating this situation. The fact is that if you are not from Kenya or Tanzania, you first hear it from the Lion King. Anyone can assume that Africans know Swahili and there are too many languages throughout the region.
